Was gonna zetec this one but the zetec is going in whats going to be my track car now


you probably already know this, but the best zetec engine was the first zeta 1.8 that was in the last xr3i and the rs1800 fiesta with 130bhp std..also in mondys aswell Driving Driving

Yea that was the 130 spec EFI setup with the alloy air intake system. I got the 115 spec from my old ghia x, well got 2 lumps actually. Both the same spec but one has 43000 miles on it and the other has 88000.

i had the same engine in my escort GTI,, little torque monsters..just need a few xtras air filter, cams, exhaust etc,,they gd engines,, the std hydraulic tappets are gd 4 up to 8500rpm (read that in a classic engine mag),, i love the days of my fords,,i do miss them!

Morettes are after.

I got the lights and a full genuine S1 RST kit for her. Also got a whale tale but i aint fitting that. I love my Fords. Will be caged and fully striped etc etc when i eventually get round to doing her.

Then after that i got a MK4 Escort Cabriolet to restore, but that has a RST engine. Then gotta rebuild my other RST engine which is 171hp.
So busy bust bust, but so so skint
