PLEASE RATE AND CHECK OUT MY YOU TUBE VIDEOS search for JJSPINXY and you can view 3 full laps on board f360 spider plus a few drive byes( all cars no tcs) smile . Volume to the max. lol

Sunday 7th march 2010 was the day of my first track day Bruntingthorpe was the location. Last week my wife said why dont you book that track day for your Birthday. So i went ahead and searched through all the events. I finnaly came to choosing one of the driver dream day packages which was excellent value for money(ultimate super car). I wouldnt actually class any of them as super cars never mind ultimate. But they were cars I could never afford so for me it was once in a life time. First up was the porsche 911 carrera non turbo (dont be fooled there still very fast 3.6ltr). I have never been excited about a porsche until now. This was fully auto but that was great cos i just cained it down the straight and cruised through the corners. It was a dream to drive and I would buy one 2moro if i won the lotto. ........To be continued.. skid

Thanks Craig. smile

There were 4 cars 911, Elise, F360, Subaru. Oh and they give you 10 mins of go karts. I had 3 laps in every car. The ferrari was good but as you can see on the video the instructor is trying to get you to change up every 5000-6000rpm The instructor insured me none of the cars were purposley rev limited. All the cars had tcs off. But i must say i had more fun in the elise and subaru as i could use the old left foot for rev matching the down shifts. I managed 120mph down the back straight. The subaru done 125mph. ferrari 130mph and i didnt look at the porsche. The elise didnt even have power steering so when you came back your arms were pumped up like youve been the gym.
Any way

I would recommend this day to anybody it was well organised and id like to thank driver day dreams for an amazing day.

Hey John, ive been on that very same drivers dream day a few years ago but Ferrari was a 355 and a bit of a nail!

Have to agree with you too that the best cars were the Elise -felt like a real race car and Scooby -handled sweet and instructor was making me push it hard. Big Grin

It was a very good day out.

Nice Pics Rob i like the close ups of you driving. On the day the spectators were quite far from the main track thats why there isnt much engine noise on my youtube vids. I think we were in the same scooby tho Driving
