As we are all aware previous incarnations of the Gran Turismo series have not had online capability.

With this in mind I'm wondering how many of us will spend countlees eye watering hours trying to obtain golds in all the licenses.
And wining every offline race.

For me personally I can see my self pretty much doing what's needed to get back online racing again.

Hey Jase ,

I as always have got all gold trophies in GT4 , as you know i got GT5 on Psp and so far have completed the first 8 challenges and got all gold ....So ya i intend to get them all when GT5 arrives . And even if i got them all , i shall try and improve the times , as it is not the same with your fingers as with the steering wheel .... thumbsup

Peace
Shane

I always do the bare minimum just to get my licences 1 by 1 as required, so that's usually bronze all the way. I only buy cars as & when I need them for certain events, but I tend to get bored when I end up with loads of money & all the fast cars. The best part of the game for me is the initial struggle with a used car & saving money from racing to do it up, once that's over I lose interest.

I'll probably be doing nothing other than just driving on The Ring for the first few months when GT5 finally arrives, saying that, there will be so much to do what with NASCAR & WRC ect that's it's hard to tell at the moment. I think the online racing in GT5 with you guys is gonna be the main stay of GT5 for me in the long run though.

Also Kazunori San has said that he is trying to make GT5 very different to all previous GT games so will we even have GT mode, Arcade Mode & licence tests? I hope we'll find out at E3 next month.

If it's a trophy and / or license system I'll aim for all golds but will achieve at least all bronzes and as I improve upgrade them to silvers als golds.

Another thing is, I'll start GT5 from scratch without transfering savegames, money and cars. I like to start with nothing and work my way up, even if that means some online races are not available right from the beginning. Consider it motivation to be successful offline :-)

same as iv been doing for the last 6 games, license, buy used car, get chash, modify, win more, buy cars i want, unlock the tracks, goooo RACING Woohoo

and hopefully if the GT/tuned cars are anything to go by, body mods are back, not just spoilers.

now hopefully we can change bumpers, skirts spoilers etc, but with manufacturer mods. like the zender kit for my stilo and 156 for instance. but not as far as the old NFS, that was OTT lol

so you can make your road car look like a BTCC car etc, that would be nice.

then off to the ring i go, happy days Woohoo

I will definately try to complete everything in offline gameplay. First though I will be unlocking everything needed for online so then I can interchange between the two modes as and when I feel. I hope we have full race seasons for the WRC and NASCAR which will take up alot of my time.

I'll do it just like in GT4,run as fast as I can trough the license stuff.
Certainly hope I can transfer GT5P cash/cars to this game.
I saved 32 F1 2007 in my garage,so no worries about the cash lol
Then I'll keep a full administration of what cars to win with certain races.
And once I've reached 100%,I'll remove data from hard disk and start all over again.. whoa
Should be no problem with several accounts on PS...
cheers

Yeah Eric, I'm with you on this one. I would love to buy some of the top expensive supercars, factory standard ofcourse. Do some test runs and stuff. Then I will complete all licenses just enough to start offline racing. I'm sure the licences will be online, kinda like the online tt's so racers can compete.
Ultimately, once I've done enough, I will be online full time. When I get tired, I will go back to completing more offline stuff.

I'm just thinking how tt's on the ring is gonna kill many racers. It's so long, and one silly mistake, and u gotta do the whole thing again.
