In an interview with GameTrust, Sony Germany's product manager comments on when we'll hear more about GT5's release:


"We know that the fans are waiting for it and we want to release it too. I think that it's more painful for us than for the fans that we couldn't hold the last date. The next time we announce a release date we'll be one-hundred per cent sure that we can hold it and won't make the mistake we did with the March date. You just have to wait a little longer until we announce a new date, only some days...or weeks."

Sounds to me like we will be getting a proper release date from Sony at E3 next month then.

Jeeez, this is killing me. Roll on E3 so we can stop the speculation.

I was wondering how sony where going to manage the switch over between GTP and GT5 online, in terms of release dates, and the different versions of the game, being available to play in different continents. would we lose online racing until the later europe release date.
i hope not. then it occured to me that the 2nd of Nov release date was after the usual track update on psn, and the europe relase date is close to the usual update time. perhaps europe gets to race online on the release day and the rest of the world has to wait?

unreliable i know but play.com has the release date as 26th november. bet its a christmas release

GamesCom is Europes games show it's the biggest in the world too, it's on between the 18th - 22nd of August. I expect the Eurpeon release date will be revealed, or confirmed as 24th Nov which the Official French Playstation site had it up as a while back.

so thats 3 months to go. DAMN IT. just thinking of a 10 lap race round the 'ring with tyres wearing out. have i enough fuel to make the lap? do i put on soft tyres or harder ones?
