As your all well aware, because I keep ranting about it
my internet connection has been lowsy as of late and has ruined my enjoyment of thrashing you lot online
.
I spoke to a Virgin Media Customer Service Adviser regarding the above issue, who advised me to try a BT I-Plate after informing me that he himself uses the same piece of equipment and it has greatly improved his internet connection and online gaming (all be it with the XBOX 360) . He told me that after fitting the BT I-Plate his internet speeds were significantl faster and he very rarely lost connection or dropped out of XBOX Live whilst gaming.
Here is a LINK! to this supposidly £7 wonder gadget. Now I can't see how realistically something so cheap and cheerfull can help improve connection issues.
Has anybody else heard about this or even use one, if so then let us know
.

Basically what it does is bypasses the old bell wire in the phone line that used to be used for the ringer on the old home phones. It is said that the bell wire causes noise and interference on the line which contributes towards causing connection issues.
