Just picked up this game cheap and I dont know what to think about it.
This is mainly because the cars seam to go around corners to easy also the steering is so sensitive. Can any one help me with settings for a g25 wheel. Also are there any driving aids to be turned off. Cheers Cool

I bought this game when it was first released. TBH it wasn't my cup of tea, I think I fall into the category of "If it's not Gran Turismo, then it's no good" lol .

I personally found the gameplay more enjoyable using the pad instead of the G25, from what I can remember something didn't quite feel right using the G25....for me anyway.

Hope you manage to master it thumbsup .

I've had it from day 1 also, after playing the demo. It's fun now and then,it sounds nice driving the Scooby with it's typical boxer engine, but it's to Arcade for me.
Like Craig said,it's not GT,so it's no good lol Big Grin

I tried the demo also & had fun with it for 5 mins using the pad, however, when I tried to use my G25 I quickly realised that Codemasters have not done a very good job of intergrating it into the game.

There is actually no Force Feedback, just some vibrations that seem to get stronger the more you steer! They also seem to have tried to disguise the fact that their FFB is well below par by bombarding you with a huge menu of options for wheel settings just like in Grid which was also lame for the G25.

My advice would be to google for "G25 settings for Dirt 2", hopefully someone will have discovered a combo you can live with. For me the game is far too arcadey with no proper FFB so I am not interested in playing it.

EDIT; I thought this thread was about Dirt 2, DOH!

doh
