What are your laptop vs PS3 speeds?

Have you been to www.speedtest.net on both?

Hello Boogaloo, have you tried using an ethernet cable to the ps3? Sometimes the wifi is shite; I think it's all about uploading speeds rather than downloading which is why your laptop is probably working ok.

Yeah I'd have to aggree with what Dan has said.

As most of us here will know and tell you GT can be a real cock when it comes to player matching.

Have you tried the portfowrd thing I mentioned in your other thread ?

http://www.gtdrivers.com/gt-drivers-members-f4/best-broadband-provider-t233-10.htm#2458

Also if it's possible on you router.
Try putting the PS3 in what is called the DMZ.
This basically puts the PS3 outside of the routers firewall.

I certainly won't make it any worse mate.

OK first Admin hat on.Use the EDIT button instaed of triple posting thumbsup smile

That done.

You need find out what make and model your router is.

Then go find it at http://portforward.com/

The information should be on there.

As for the DMZ thing if your router supports it ?.

Then follow this guide

HERE

Hope it helps.
