Hmm good question David.

Mine has always been on too. But I would assume it would make the steering slower and heavier.

I'm going to turn it off next time I fire up the game.

its says on the scrolling text on options menu,, that if power steering is on,, makes it easier to go from lock to lock when counter steering is needed,, for those tricky occasions!

also when you look at settings,, only certain wheels are high lighted. so i think sim an pro doesn't affect DFGT wheel

torque is how far you send the wall across the field once youve hit it!

Thx jase,,next time you on GT5p have a goosy at the settings for the wheels, youll see some options not available for DFGT ( maybe coz its permanently simulation?) G27 looks tasty..wont be able to get on of those till next year...all good things come to those who wait,,, or maybe if i see a second hand G25 for a good price,, ill cook for the misses he he
