Not sure how long its been happening,I'm going to check some old replays to see.
Has anyone else come across this?. I was planning on stripping the pedal unit down and having clean up etc.

Yep I currently experience the same problem from time to time.. i've had my G25 for 2 years now.. i'm guessing the brake is finally starting to stick. I'm probably just gonna strip it and give it a clean up.

It certainly gets frustrating when your on a hot lap and the brake is flicking on down the straight!

Depending on your setup, there can be another reason for a sticking brake.

On my previous G27 I also had a brake problem, sometimes it would brake a little by itself but it got worse and worse. It turned out that that de cable from the pedal unit under hard braking sometimes got stuck between the unit and my cupboard (flexing of the pedal plateau, movement of the playseat) and over time this had caused broken internal wire and visible damage on the black outer cable. Varying with the radius / tightness of the cable's arc around the unit it made bad contact and kept the throttle activated. I cut out an inch of wire and that fixed the problem. If you cut the wire, the brake will stick at 100% active.
